Dr. Kokkat is so thorough. He really listens so carefully to what you are saying. He kept taking my calls to make sure he could address my GI issues. After suffering for years he has virtually solved my GI issues. I highly recommend Dr. Kokkat.
Can't bother to review my chart has he took over for a dr that left the practice.. He changed appointments last minute.. He can't count.. He also isn't informed with medicines and effects that can happen if ones to suddenly stop... You can't get a hold of the office only call center and they don't communicate it too me 3weeks including multiple trips to the office to get it resolved almost 2 months.. Dr Rossi and her staff were great! I had a colonoscopy done with her. She was a real pro and will be someone i trust with my health going forward.
Dr Kokkat’s office is wholly incompetent. My concerns were repeatedly dismissed with rudeness. I was questioned if I knew where my esophagus was. I was told they don’t treat “heartburn” or “acid reflux” the NP told me she didn’t know what that was. A year later I have found another GI doc to find that I do have a hiatal hernia that Dr Kokkat chose not to inform me of and has gone untreated leaving me in a severe amount of pain. Well informed on procedure and excellent care provided during process
Dr. Hoffman is one of the smartest doctors I have met. I believe he lectures across the country so he needs to be up to date on the latest medical procedures. I believe he has knowledge that others don't have. Add this to a pleasant personality and you have a great doctor.
Dr Hoffman is a knowledgeable compassionate professional. He is a good listener and takes the time to explain symptoms and solutions.
Dr. Hoffman effectively performed a colonoscopy and endoscopy on me. He diagnosed peptic ulcers based on the endoscopy and prescribed medication which healed the ulcers. He also made a point of telling me my blood pressure was much too high and that I need to closely monitor that and take action to lower my blood pressure. I have followed his advice and am grateful for his professional care and expertise.
My relative was suffering from a severe bleeding ulcer--significant weight loss, anemia, unable to keep food down. Dr. Kokkat did the scope and made the diagnosis--and then offered NO advice, NO treatment, NOTHING but a 'follow-up appointment' 3 months later. Needless to say, we advise everyone to seek treatment elsewhere. Kokkat is an excellent mechanic and a lousy physician. Zero stars.
