Dr Rossi was very honest with me about what could potentially happen after my emergency back surgery. I felt that I was in good hands. He has done over 70 surgeries. He was much more personable right before surgery explaining the pain is in for hip issues. I found him to be very knowledgeable and know what to do after he found i had a calcified disc and how to deal with that. He worked on me for over 6 hours. I could have been paralyzed from my disc and he basically saved my life. I would definitely recommend him

about 20 years ago he operated on my back. He did fabulous job i've had not one problem. Arnold Rossi ruined my mother's life. Immediately following what was supposed to be a routine surgery, she was physically and mentally decimated. Upon our heart wrenching bewilderment, Rossi was unsympathetic and callous. His ONLY concern was protecting his reputation. Run, don't walk away from this so called doctor.

WORST doctor ever.....he ruined my life when I was 42. I am now 52. He performed two surgeries two months to the day apart. After the second surgery I was even worse. When I went to be evaluated he said I just have to live with the pain. Nothing else. Such a rude doctor with zero compassion!! He didn't use any hardware L5-S1 vertebrae, and now my bones rub together when I walk. Can't walk more than 5 minutes without sitting. My husband and I 20 years married divorced because of pain.

Went to this doctor for an MRI review of a brain tumor. Glib, seemed bored and disinterested. Spent 5minutes asking questions and never smiled or appeared interested. No compassion or information offered. I went to someone else...that doctor showed me the tumor on my MRI...explained what it was...suggested treatment plan and then asked, "how does this plan sound to you and are you comfortable with this?" What a difference!!! Would not recommend Dr. Rossi.

After reading my MRI Dr. Rossi checked the strength and mobility of my arms hands, legs and neck. He took the time to explain my spinal stenosis condition, discussed what should be done. Pointed out that an operation was not needed at the present time, that I should continue with my physical therapy, and add to it some at home traction. He gave me a prescription for the home traction kit. Dr. Rossi took the time to answer all of the questions that my wife and I had. We were extremely satisfied!

Dr. Rossi may not have the warmest "bedside manner." He spent an enormous amount of time with me explaining the surgery, risks, etc. and I am very pleased with the results. I would only recommend Dr. Rossi with reservations because the post-surgery "care" I received in the Bliss Bldg at Hartford Hospital where Dr. Rossi operates, except for a few nurses and aides, was horrible beyond belief, and in particular the hospital neurosurgery PAs in charge were arrogant and completely unhelpful.

Absolutely would not recommend. While he may or may not be a good surgeon, he is generally apathetic about overall care. Shockingly staff do not follow up after procedures and they continually ignore requests for medical records.

.Saw him in 2013 and brought my MRI disc. He said he could not help me even though he was the best back surgeon in the state and my condition couldn't be operated on. PCP sent me to him again in 2015 with the newest MRI. Once again said he could not help. Saw a different doctor and he showed me on the MRI's what the issues were and performed surgery to correct it. This doctor was also a neurologist. Dr. Rossi's bed side manner is lacking, he's arrogant and l wouldn't recommend him to anyone!
