How many doctors does it take to diagnose 6 broken bones in the foot?? (1999) ER: "it's just a sprain" (x-rays interpreted by a few MDs) Podiatrist: "ordered CT scan. Showed 6 broken bones. You need surgery immediately. You'll need several pieces of hardware.." Points for ordering CT. STEVEN ROSS, MD: I'd like to cast it for 4 weeks and see if it heals on it's own before jumping into surgery". It healed on its own and I've had no problems since! SO thankful that I was referred to Dr. Ross!
