After signing a contract for residential solar estimated to take 5 months it has taken 14 months and the job is not complete. The utility (UI) may be to blame for some months, but much of the delays seem to be avoidable or the fault of Con Edison Solutions. I have been calling for over a year now for my business , commercial building , i called him (Warren) tens times never calls back, finally says months later going to look at property , never showed up , last email from them july 7---really awful customer service, i have called the office many times they apologize for him, still no phone call....I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!!
Last December, my husband and I made the decision to have solar panels installed on our roof. We met with several companies and decided on Ross Solar out of Connecticut. This process has been a joke, besides the delay by National Grid, the panels were finally installed on August 1st, here we are September 24th and they still aren’t up and running. Great team of knowledgeable and skilled contractors
I had wanted to go solar for environmental reasons since I was in high school, now that I’m a home owner it also made financial sense. Some folks will ask how long until the investment pays for itself and I sometimes laugh at the question responding with a question of my own asking how long it takes for their car to pay for itself or any other big purchase. Great experience with Ross Solar! I was very impressed by the expertise of the team, and truly felt that they were devoted to designing the best system for our needs. The installers were respectful and finished their work ahead of schedule. We are thrilled not to have any fees for electricity, except for the monthly service fee from the utility. We now charge two electric cars from the power of the panels!
We had a system designed and installed with Ross Solar Group this fall.Everyone we dealt with from the representative who first came to our home, the crew who installed the panels on our roof, the administrative staff...all were very professional, answered all our questions. When we had a minor hiccup in the installation, they took ownership and corrected the problem. Great company and I would recommend them without hesitation.
