The prices go up and the quality should also.
John Ross is a professional land lord in all terms during the duration of a rental. But Mr. Ross does rental malpractice. John purposely puts blinds on doors that should be on windows, then charges $150 for the replacement of them, like they weren’t going to break. A quick google search will show that the blinds are $10 at Home Depot. Mr Ross took over $1600 of security deposits from me and my roommates for maybe ~$200 worth of total damage. Watch out who you rent from.
Good housing and rents are reasonable. Maintenance is on top of things.
