My 82 yr old mother hired a contractor, who in turn hired Carpet One to install a carpet. My mother paid the contractor, however the contractor did not pay carpet one. I talked to Carpet One and assumed they would go after the bond of the contractor. They didn't. Instead they went after a little old lady on a fixed income and put a lien on her home.
