Poor service, sour vomit smell, cold food and rude servers Employees are rude the server pushed me out her way when I trying to sit down. The food was cold. The server never asked how everything was, or ask if anyone needed a refill on their drink. I had six people at my table. The bus cart was next to our table the entire time. One employee had thrown a food basket at the cart and missed and it hit my bother in law. there was water on the bus cart that smelled like sour vomit and employees were getting this water on people ... read more
Got to have the Cabo fish tacos I have been going to Roses for a long time and the best thing to get are the Cabo fish tacos and a side order of their regular french fries. The chowder is ok, and the views are wonderful, but to top off the dining experience order the Cabo Fish Tacos and you will love them.
Roses Landing Me and my Husband and three boys with his girlfriend loved the food and beautiful views from the outside patio.Food was good service was great and would recommend people to have lunch there while site seeing the beautiful town.
Beautiful place, but not the best food The restaurant itself is beautiful, it has a nice view and a lovely bar (though the drinks are rather pricey). I've had their clam chowder before and it was good, but the last time I went to Rose's I ordered the "Catch of the Day" which was supposed to be fresh fish with a butter sauce and rice pilaf. What I got was a tiny piece of poorly prepared salmon that looked like it was something I could have gotten frozen in an in-land grocery store, and a bunch of burnt Spanish rice that taste... read more
What a View The restaurant is right on the water so the dining room's windows allow you a great view of the sunset. I recommend the fish and chips. Some of the best I have eaten. They have garlic fries which I didn't care for but my roommate thought they were to die for. Variety and reasonable prices with a view. What more could you ask for?
Delightful View My friend and I decided to try Rose's Restaurant and enjoyed it. Windows go across the dining area so you can watch the sun going down over the small inlet (bay). The staff was quite nice. The food was good. The prices were reasonable. A nice place to relax and have a comfort food meal.
The best fish & chips around! My mom and I make a point to go to Morro Bay just to eat Rose's battered fish and garlic fries. Overlooking the bay, the atmosphere is beautiful but still casual. The perfect place to go for a quick and delicious meal. The service was always great, except of course when the drunk old ladies keep trying to flirt with the bartender, but that's more of entertainment than a nuisance.
A review of the pervoius review My father and I will be dining at Roses tomarrow evening. We chose this place due only to the fact that the old ladies mentioned seem easy. My father, being an older gentlemen, would shurley enjoy intoxicated old ladies. Hopefully the aformentioned ladies will be there when we get there. Also I like seafood, so its a win win situation.
