The older reviews mention a manager named Connie, I don’t believe she is involved anymore. The woman I deal with is named Judy, and she is very nice and helpful! The apartment was fairly clean when I moved in, I did have to push pretty hard to get a new AC/heating unit put in. But it got done eventually. My only complaint is that some of the vacant units look pretty run down. Cheapest rent in Charleston though, and very secluded but close to town!
10 minutes outside of the city you feel like you're in a state forest! Nice units, not crowded, spectacular atmosphere. Lots of cats live there too. Perfect blend of forested seclusion and urban access.
Connie the manager is horrible! She never answers phone calls. One time I called, and she answered on accident. She realized her mistake and hung up on me! The plumbing is horrible, and the door seals are horrible. My boyfriend and I had a studio apartment. One day the walls, toilet, and bathtub started overflowing. We could hear the water in the walls, and we were afraid it would cause a fire; considering there is wiring in the walls. We called Connie 100 times. No answer! She(manager) never returned all phone calls or emails. Finally got to talk to her the one time she answered. She was hateful and definitely not a people person.
