Great food, Sh!tty waitstaff – I went there for the first time after hearing their pizza was THE best. I am hard-of-hearing and I went in to order pizza to go since I can't use the phone. First of all, as soon as I walked in, there were three waitstaffs walking around and didn't acknowledge me standing there waiting(they saw me but didnt make the slightest attempt to ask if I needed anything). Ariana B These people think they are in Manhattan! The prices are high and the attitudes of the workers are terrible!!! We came from Fairfield because we had heard that this was one of the best Pizzas in Ct. Will never ask for a review from that friend again! Expensive, not very clean, rude staff, and a bathroom that I wanted to scrub before I used it about says it all. I'll stick to New Haven.
Not worth it! Very expensive & the staff is RUDE!!!The food is good but definitely over-priced for the valley.The decor & cleanliness also leave alot to be desired. Drive to New Haven and Spend your money elsewhere!
Good Pizza I have only been to Roseland once but I remember the pizza as being some of the best I ever tasted. The reason I did not return was the wait. It was wall to wall people (not surprising because of the food). The crust on the pizza was thin and very well done and the taste was great. If you can stand the wait, this is good pizza.
Roseland Apizza This is by far one of the most expensive resteurants I've ever eaten at,but it is so worth it..They make one of the best pizza's I've ever tasted.& their dinners are out of this world.It has a very nice atmosphere & their service is very good..I had their roasted pepper pizza...it was so good!

Lobster Ravioli is killer You will never find lobster ravioli like they make it Roseland's. Though expensive, you really get what you pay for. Too rich for 1 person to eat alone, the ravioli are filled to bursting with pure lobster meat, then covered with a lobster sauce loaded with chunks of fresh lobster. The best you will ever find. Oh, and by the way, everything else they serve there is great as well. Might be a wait on the weekends, but well worth it.
The non-New Haven New Haven Pizza! Roseland is a great place for your New Haven pizza fix. I put it up there with Pepe's & Modern! It's often packed, and the seafood pies are to die for. Limited seating, but friendlly and prompt service. Parking is a little dicey at busy times, you may have to park 'round the corner.
AVOID THE WEEKENDS....beware of rude customer service – This is a valley legend and landmark and one positive they are always busy. Besides this we had given up on this place years ago. For some reason we decided lets try it again. Now we know why we don't go there. The owner is rude. You can't eat there on the weekends and its too busy and service is semi slow and if you try to relax and have a dinner your pushed out the door.
