Nice Guys, Bad Vets I had been to this vet clinic a couple of times for minor stuff and shots. They are a little pricey but close to my house. When something was really wrong with my dog. They were really bad,I spent over 1000 dollars and never got a reason why my dog was sick. They are horrible diagnosticians. I had to leave my dog there for over night care. The place they keep them is NOT clean, it smells and the cages were WAY to small. It was a very depressing place for a animal. They prefer you don't visit your pet. I t... read more

Just a note to Jeanne B. I've worked in the Vet field for 10+yrs & I've never known any Vet to euthanize for free! Medicine isn't cheap sweetie & staff doesn't work for free either.

Who Uses Pagers For Emergencies? Online reviews are valuable for finding new human or animal doctors. Previous to the following experience, we were happy clients and still think Dr. Bass rocks. Unfortunately, it took two emergencies for us to snap that this clinic is operating in the Stone Age. They advertise that they are available after hours for emergencies and yet when we needed them most on two occasions within a three week time span, the owner, Dr. Saathoff (who was on call) did not respond to any of the numerous pages... read more

Money-grubbing Having 6 cats, I visited this clinic many times in the 4 years I lived near it. And each time I left, I was upset at how I was treated by the receptionist. She was a cold, uncaring person who should never have been in a position to deal with clients. But my biggest issue with this clinic was that when I unfortunately had to euthanize 5 of my cats over an 18-month period, I was presented with a bill for each one, even after spending hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars there. Never before had I been made to p... read more

Great Dr.s and Staff " I moved to the area several years ago, and had a beautful 13 year old German Shepherd. My first visit to Rosehill Veterinary was on a sad note. My Shepherd was getting older and was having problems. All of the Dr.s were absolutely wonderful and kind, and took to my boy as if they had been treating him all his life. I did have several more years with him before we had to put him down. Again the Dr.s were very kind, and professional. We now have 2 beautiful mixed breed rescues that we take there. I would... read more

Underwhelming We were trying Rosehill for the first time rather than our normal vet, the doctor we saw seemed fine but overall we just felt very unwelcome. The front of house didn't look at all pleased to be there, and they gossiped while we stood awkwardly wondering if we could pay our bill since we were given no direction. It seemed disorganized and unwelcoming.

Inhumane Last year, my son and daughter saw a stray hit on FM 2920. The driver didn't stop, but the dog was badly injured laying on the roadside. Acting as good Samaritans, they took the suffering canine to the nearby Rosehill Vet Clinic whom refused to euthanize the mortally injured dog without someone paying the fee. Another motorist who had also stopped and was waiting in her car outside the clinic stepped in and paid the non-discounted fee when my son and daughter were about to leave in search of a more humane vet clinic... read more

Wonderful place and wonderful vets I recently had an emergency and was not even a client and the doctor met me in the middle of the night to see my sick dog. I called several other places and no one would see me except for the super expensive emergency clinic where I would have to wait. I was so happy with them that I switched all my pets to them and have had a great experience. They are all so caring, sweet and truly there to help. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My favorite Vet. This place has become my favorite Vet! We moved here a couple of years ago and have been going ever since. They have always taken the best care of our dogs, but at the same time they dont do any unneccesary procedures. Price is below average from what I have seen so far and I am headed in to do another surgery with them next week.
