My mother stayed at Rosegate Village for rehabilitation after a fall. The nurses at Rosegate were wonderful. They took the time to become familiar with her medical device and later monitored her as she began using it herself again. All staff worked with us to help ensure she regained her independence. Rosegate also helped a lot with my billing and Medicare questions even months after my mom went home.
Rosegate Village took care of my mom for 3 1/2 years. No pain. No fear. These were my 2 requests for the staff as they cared for her through the stages of dementia. They honored those 2 requests splendidly. I was able to communicate with the staff, the prescribing doctors and physical therapists throughout her time with them. I would recommend Rosegate for anyone who has a loved one with dementia. They loved her well.
My mother in law went here for rehab. The rehab portion wasn't bad. The room where she was staying was dirty, there were ants and centipedes in the room. After we asked for things to be cleaned up we wiped the floor to check up and it was still filthy. Mom said they had not given her her meds, we asked and they reported they were given. Management che ked it out and it was not given. Staff lied to us and management. We had high hopes but our care was far below standard and they should actually be a zero out of 5.
Left my mom when she went to use her power scooter. No one is coming to help her.
