I rarely leave negative reviews and went back and forth about posting this one, but I felt it was important to share my experience. The office staff was friendly, and the PA I saw was kind, informative, and helpful. Unfortunately, my interactions with the medical assistant/nurse were concerning and unprofessional. I feel like my concerns are not taken seriously, which is an issue that is too common with female patients. Healthcare is not cheap and I pay WAY too much just to be dismissed. During my appointment with Dr. Alberda, he was VERY condescending towards me. It's incredibly unfair that I have to bring my husband or a male family member with me just so my medical issues will be taken seriously. I've been a patient of this practice for over 20 years and generally had a great experience except for today. I came into the office to drop off a lab specimen and the front desk receptionist was rude and speaking very loudly that other people in the waiting room could here my medical information. Then someone came out from the back a blonde in purple scrubs confronted me very rudely. They both refused to help me and had terrible attitudes. I felt dismissed and disrespected.
