The rent is cheap. Units break down and management does quick fixes, but at the expense of it not actually being fixed just a patch unless you file a complaint with the city. Then they get professional plumbers or contractors to do the work. Yes, again, rent is cheap; you get what you pay for. With your sanity, you will hear arguments, domestic disputes, and sometimes homeless people living in the storage room with the washers and dryers. Do not move into this hovel. Roaches the size of your thumb, theiving gangbanger tenants, and old people with control issues will make your life a living hell. Do you intend to walk around your apartment? Expect someone downstairs to pound at your door daily. Oh did i mention the trains every hour on the hour? Zero insulation for railyard sound. This place is a slum.
