I lived in one of their affordable housing units in the City of Yonkers. I lived there for two years and I loved the place. I had to move because I am starting my PhD program in New Jersey. However,, I experienced nothing but professionalism and it was hard to move out. I loved that it was a smoke-free building although people smoked and the location was picturesque. Absolutely HORRIFIC experience.. steer clear of anything Rose Managed! Very junior leasing agents that over-promise and under-deliver. The management company will string you along with the goal of getting more and more money out of you. There is little to no communication throughout the application process. Even for NYC, Rose Management, is BY FAR the worst I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. No respect for their prospective clients. Rose took over the Halden in white plains and since it’s been one disaster after another. I’m not sure they know how to operate rentals. The issues now were not issues with the prior company. Read the other reviews.
Imagine if they actually knew what they were doing.
The most corrupt management in NYC. BEWARE!! The building the Apthorp is a beautiful wedding cake but decaying on the inside. Disgraceful management.. Slumlords.
