I typically stand in this area for Mardi Gras, and this year I ended up standing in front of this building under the balcony. The people who were using the balcony had been drinking and ended up pouring their drink over the edge onto myself and 3 other adults, and about 4 children as well. I yelled at them, asking what had been poured on us as I did not want to be covered in some alcoholic beverage. I was soaking wet, covered in something sticky that smelled fruity. Rose is top notch, her investment in people shows a human touch and her devotion to Mobile's community and historic preservation is more than evident. I hope she considers a run for mayor... or congress... as stepping stone. I mean President McPhillips does have a nice ring to it now does it not?
