My husband has been sick for 10 days, hurts all over, can’t walk. First visit to ER he was given fluids and sent home. This past Sunday I made a list of all that is wrong. When the doctor came in after doing blood work and said “He’s fine, you can take him home,” I lost it. No fluids, no xrays, no urine analysis. After I responded with “He’s not ok and we’re not going home until you see if he has a UTI, give him fluids and a Covid test,” he got things done. Recommendedback in late November 2019, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. my ER nurse was a male with dark hair with glasses at the Roper Berkeley ER.... around midnight on 11/23/19.... he was so attentive and amazing and I wish I could find him to thank him. he was a very caring, understanding and great to me. from being so out of it due to DKA, I wish I knew his name. I would reccomend him a million times over.
I got sick while taking my son! you'd think they'd separate the waiting room, but NOOOO. Bunch everyone in there together. smh

If you want people to LISTEN to you & actually give you medical advice, DON’T. GO. HERE. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Some guy who was a physician assistant came in before the doctor (which apparently isn’t what he’s even supposed to do according to the staff & doctor..) & was a total dickhead. Didn’t even listen to me, made me feel worse & belittled. He didn’t listen to any of my problems, he just blamed it all on a menstrual cycle because I’m a female. Complete idiot. Waste of time. The nurses and technicians here are extremely knowledgeable. If it was not for them today I could’ve really been in a bad condition. Thank you Roper Berkeley for training amazing people.
