What an amazing place! Fabulous food, wonderful staff and a cozy atmosphere. Prices are "right"...not ski town inflated. For breakfast try the "Ironman"!
Rootz is the best! Chef Fawn and her crew serve up the healthiest, most delicious and thoughtful menu in town!
Every time I visit Rootz, I am greated with kindness and quality ingredients. I love the fresh juices and the salads! Thanks Fawn for bringing the valley such a great place!

Thank goddess for creekside restaurant. What kind of place doesn't open for breakfast before 8, even though their hours are listed for 7? Obviously not a place for snow riders when they also close at whim. 3 strikes you're out! Never thought I'd find anything but friendly restaurants in steamboat, but was so wrong.
This restaurant apparently doesn't want to serve customers. I've tried 3 times and despite their posted hours, I been told "man, we already turned off the grill ..." Or like today, the doors were just locked. This place must be owned by "trust-a-farians." i.e. they suck.
Awesome experience! Great bowls and separation methods for people with Celiac! Definitely in my top 5 :-)
Had that Thai P-Nut Chicken for lunch the other day...really good.
