I called Roots and Shoots after hearing good things about their tree service. I needed arborists who are well informed about multiple types of trees ranging in size and age. Some of our trees primarily needed care to preserve their health, and I wanted to maintain/improve the appearance of them all. Roots and Shoots has helped with the trees on my inner SE Portland property for probably 20 years now. They’ve removed ailing trees, ground stumps, imparted vertical mulching and provided sound advice about existing trees and tree selection for my place. I’ve recommended them to several neighbors and friends. Justin is very approachable, and his crew has always been absolutely top notch. I recommend Roots and Shoots highly!

Another fine job by the Roots and Shoots crew. Work is always high quality, they are easy to work with and always do what I want and then some. They have a planning trip up front, arrive on time, finish on schedule, have good suggestions, regular check ins as the work proceeds and a complete cleanup. The crew is terrific.
