A bright gem in Buxton. The donuts are unlike any vegan donut I’ve come across. The coffee is delightful, the folks are super nice and helpful. Easy 1000/1 on the yum yum scale

Incredibly friendly owners, delicious donuts, and the coffee...omg… Genuinely the best iced coffee I have EVER had. I ordered one of their specialty iced lattes (it had coconut in it… blanking on the name unfortunately) and was blown away. I shy away from ordering iced coffee due to it almost always just tasting like slightly flavored milk, but this was nothing like that!! Super bold and rich coffee flavor! Come to Roots & Leaves if you are on Hatteras Island, and come get you a delicious dirty chai with the best homemade donuts. The lemon berry and orange donuts are my favorite 😋 We come here every year and the owners are always kind to us, always greeting us with a smile. Get here early because donuts sell out fast. 10/10.
