Due to a bad storm in the area and the power surge that occurred, Roots was very busy Friday July 25th. I called after 3 pm after just learning my tenants AC was out. At First I was told Monday July 28th. Then they were able to get a repair guy out. Mason came-he quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The power surge had damaged the smart thermostat. The installation itself was very efficient and the technician offered some valuable suggestions. The AC condenser was to be placed in the dog pen south of the house. Installer asked what type/sex of dogs and because they were mates, suggested the condenser be place further west and outside of the dog pen to prevent dogs from urinating in the condenser, which because of the acidity would cause early deterioration of the unit. Both the customer service team and the technician were very friendly and helpful. They strived hard to make sure my AC units were up and running and succeeded. I would definitely recommend them for any Heating and Cooling needs
