I cannot say enough positive things about Roots. From the moment I first reached out, I felt welcomed and respected. The staff is warm and professional, and they consistently go above and beyond to ensure clients feel supported every step of the way. The environment at Roots is peaceful and comfortable. Very knowledgeable and kind 😇. Milton at Roots Counseling is really great to work with. His goal is to teach you how to self regulate and give you the tools you need to find more joy in this life. His approach is so refreshing and much different than other therapists, because he does not want to create a patient that has to keep coming back indefinitely. I recommend Milton 100%.
I have referred both friends and family to Roots. I can feel the genuine care they have for everyone. If you need to talk to someone Milton is always ready to lend a listening ear.
This is my 4th day calling, attempting to make a new patient appointment, without getting a call back. 0 stars for reception. I didn’t like it here a few years ago when I came for DBT. I’d been in 6 different DBT groups as a leader or participant; this was the first one ever that I didn’t like. It was very unprofessional and everyone just vented or gossiped instead of actually doing DBT. I never complained about this, I just decided to not come back.
