I’ve been going to Phil at Roots Barber Shop for about 8 years. Even after moving away from Manchester, I still make the drive because his cuts are that good. Consistent, detail-oriented, and always delivers exactly what you ask for. Great barber, great shop — highly recommend.
Been with Phil going on 8 years, every 3 weeks like clockwork. Just a great dude and barber - great cut and conversation every time. Phil’s even started cutting my son’s (3) hair - and is always super patient and flexible getting a good cut down on him! Amazing to see Phil grow and open his own shop - keep up the great work, Phil! Phil is an excellent barber. I was very excited to learn he opned up his own shop! Highly recommended and as always great conversation while he gets you looking fresh for any occasion or just to spoil yourself.
Got a haircut and beard work done at Roots by Phil and it came out great. He really took his time and paid attention to the details. One of the best cuts I’ve had in a while. Super clean work, relaxed atmosphere, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
Beyond exceptional. Staff/owner were incredibly personable, the vibe is perfect, shop is very clean and organized, complimentary drink was appreciated. Haircut came out better than any other I’ve received. I left with perfect hair, quality products, and a smile! To top it off, veryyy reasonable pricing, 10/10 will be back!
