Disappointing Service and Unclear Practices My experience with Rooter-Man of NJ was extremely frustrating and costly. I initially called them on Monday, March 18th, 2024 for a minor water leak in my basement ceiling. I know this was more than 1 year ago, but still worth sharing my personal experience with the people in nearby community. I have all the email communications and evidence retained, and happy to share if someone wants more details. Technician Scott was GREAT! He was quick with the water heater with a valuable price! Definitely would recommend, very happy!
Not the worst service by far (seriously, if they did it right the first time, these would be my go-to guys). Took them 2 visits just to clear the roots, after first visit one-man attempt hit a wall he suggested it was a broken sewer hookup. Town dpw sent two guys same day and disagreed (and managed to make that diagnosis without costing $300).
