I called Rooter Hero yesterday after I found out my kitchen sink got clogged and scheduled an appt for today from 10am to 12pm. I took time off waiting at home. However, no one called or showed up. At almost 12pm, I got a text saying someone was on his way. However I needed to return to work at 12pm so I called Rooter hero. I was told that my appt was switched to 11am to 1pm. I hired Rooter Hero in San Jose on September 9, 2025, for a backed-up sewer drain after being quoted $79 to clear it. The first tech snaked about 75 feet but couldn’t open the line. He said they could send another crew with a camera who would both inspect and clear the blockage for around $500 if successful. The second crew came out, ran a camera, didn’t clear anything, and then quoted me nearly $6,000 to dig up the yard and install a new cleanout. I called Rooter rescue while driving home for an appointment to unclog a drain. They actually had a same day appointment. WoW! Freddy came to my rescue! Within a short while, he had the job done. I am definitely calling them again. Freddy was very nice and made my day and week. Thank you!

Omar, and his colleague Juan, were terrific. Omar came out very quickly after I called Rooter Hero on a Sunday , not a weekday, about a clogged sink pipe, and he set up and did what he needed to very professionally to clear the line with plumber's pipe snake, in doing so discovered something that might indicate a problem further down the line outside, got his colleague Juan to come back with Omar, about an hour later, to run a camera down the outside access pipe, and we found that the septic tank being overfull might be the ... read more
