I love the Rooted Cafes here in Augusta, and Evans. They have five locations. They offer great specialty drinks; coffee, chai tea and smoothies. Delicious food for breakfast, brunch or lunch. I especially love their Crepes and French Toast! They have fresh baked goods as well, each one I’ve tried was delicious! Love that they have seasonal specials, too. Coffee was great! I got an iced latte with cold foam and the foam was a little too thick and I had a hard time mixing it in and getting to the coffee. Other than that, taste was amazing! Will definitely come back next time I am in town.
Coffee and espresso shots are both weak. Vibe of workers and customers is clique-ish, mean girls, dress like us, worship like us. No thanks. That's NOT what I want in a coffee shop. I'll stick with Goat Kick and Inner Bean whose coffee I actually feel the caffeine from, and which are open and diverse in mindset.
