RecommendedPeople told us how fabulous the farm-to-table fare here is, and we were not disappointed. The popular Grilled Romaine, to which I added chicken salad, was scrumptious yummy delicious. The Rosa Pizza, colorful, both sweet & spicy, baked to perfection in their brick oven, was one of the best we’ve eaten. Desert & coffee complimented our experience. Our waiter, Zach’s professional, low-key service, the interior ambience, and the affordable gourmet meal put Roots and Vine in an enviable spot on my list of great dining places.
Perfect steak. Always an exquisite dining experience.
Best restaurant in Morganton hands down!!!
Took our daughter here for her 25th birthday dinner and it was wonderful!! We had eaten lunch here previously and we were excited to return for dinner. We had beef tenderloin, the New York strip ( which was huge!) and the trout. All cooked to perfection. Great wine and burbon cocktails to finish. So cool Morganton supports such fine dining. A Wednesday night and it was full:)
Salmon BLT and cucumber tomato salad was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. The waitress was very sweet and gave perfect recommendations. P.s. If you go and don’t get the Banana Pudding Cheesecake... you’re a fool
Went for our Anniversary and was disappointed with the food and service. My husbands steak was tough and I had to ask for more beverages two times and the bus girl filled our glasses. Left and went to Abeles for desserts and coffee and got much better service.
Had a great lunch today. Soup, salad w/ fried oysters and Tiramisu were all on point. Wife had a killer chicken sandwich. Awesome waitstaff. We’ll be back for dinner next time we’re in town!
My husband and I traveled to the Root and Vine for the Impossible Burger not realizing it was a lunchtime item only. Our waiter was very patient upon hearing of my disappointment and looked at alternatives for us; the chef was most accomodating in fixing us a scrumptious vegan creation that was not on the menu; the falafel appetizer was the best I've ever had; and there was even a vegan dessert to take home! We will be back! Thank you!
