The doctors at Root Canal Specialist are experts in what they do and they operate their office like a well oiled machine. I've had several root canals at other offices but Dr. Doering is the best. This was my first time going here and my first root canal. I appreciate that there was an opening that I could get in right away. The thing that made my experience terrible was the fact that they used no topical anesthetic and went right in for the shots as soon as I sat down - several, which were very painful! I have never been to a dentist that didn't take time to numb the area topically a little before the shots. Was not expecting this. I don't know what I expected, but a completely painless, 15-minute root canal wasn't it. The doctor kept updating me in the progress, which was a nice touch. What a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.

Due to hating/terrified of the dentist and years of neglect, I had to have 2 root canals. Over the years I heard horror stories from people having bad experiences. I have to give the biggest thank you to Dr. Selis and his staff for making this a quick and pain free experience. I will highly recommend Dr Selis and staff to anyone needing a root canal (or two, three, etc).
