Ordered $42 steak, filet mignon medium rare and it was done well; was very dry. Ordered a whiskey and sweet and received it with coke! They didn’t know sweet was 7-up or Sprite. Potatoes very bland. No soup or salad with dinner, nor were there any dinner rolls.
They like, have Chef Pink! That's a 5 star review in itself.
Visited there this past weekend for my birthday. Per usual, the food was great and high quality. One issue though is that the scallops entree is not an entree, it's more of an appetizer. My sister in law and I split the dish - 3 scallops and a relish type side (maybe 4 bites). The waitress should have let us know how small the plate was going to be. Consideration should be given to adding something to this dish or making it an appetizer and dropping the price from $28. Will be back though, the oysters here are fantastic:)
I recommend everything about Root 246. Chef Pink out does herself each time I visit. There are always new changes with the seasons. She is very creative. Last night I had the halibut that was outstanding!

the filet is wonderful. and the homemade ice cream. the salad tasted straight from the garden.
The chef’s table was an amazing experience. Chef Pink and her staff provided an amazing dining experience. Each course was perfection.
