Everything I've ordered has been delicious, but the Chicken Wonton soup is one of the best soups I've ever had! I love this restaurant and highly recommend.

Rooster is hidden gem tucked away on the Poway side of Scripps Ranch. The food is refreshingly different, fresh and a welcome departure from the standard Thai cuisine around San Diego. Try the Khao Peak and the Khao Man Gai, but everything I’ve tried here is delicious. The hostesses are super friendly and take the time to walk you through your choices. Hope this place remains a success. I will certainly be returning often.
Wanted to try this place out because of the good reviews but it was seriously disappointing. The Hainan chicken with rice literally looked like it was microwaved. The chicken was so dry (even the dark meat was ruined). The rice also tasted reheated. The yolk on the hard boiled egg was completely green and the egg was unseasoned. We also ordered the shrimp garlic noodle but they left out the noodle. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things but the chicken and rice is named after the restaurant so you'd expect it to be amazing.
