We had been putting off getting the roof looked at for too long. D&D came out for a free estimate and did not pressure us at all. After getting a couple quotes around Palatine we went ahead with them because the price was fair and they seemed to know their stuff. The scheduling was quick and the install day went smoothly. The new roof looks great and we are relieved we finally bit the bullet!
D&D handled a full reroof on our colonial and the result is really clean. They tore off two layers of old shingles, replaced about six sheets of decking that had soft spots, and put down new ice and water shield along the eaves and valleys before the new architectural shingles went on. After comparing a few options around Palatine the price was fair for the scope. The chimney flashing was redone properly too which was something the previous roof never had right.
there had been a nasty leak around the skylight after a heavy storm. D&D found the bad flashing and resealed it same visit. been through a few more storms since with no issues. quick fix, fair price
