John Ray at Roof Repair Experts has been wonderful to work with. I have a rental house in Pittsburgh; it's over 100 years old and has a slate roof. It's hard to find people who still work with slate roofing and John has been great with everything from slate repairs and replacements to gutter clean-outs and more. HIGHLY recommended!
They came fairly quickly the first time out. I had a leak still and it took them nearly another week to correct the issue. Prices others say are fair. I was charged $450 for the repairs. Other than that they were friendly, took pictures of the damage area and got busy. I'll still use them for future roofing issues. (Update 4/7/20. The repairs couldn't hold during the rain storms. I had the roof repair experts out 3 times to fix a leak in my roof. They not only didn't fix the leak but they were unable to identify what was wrong with the roof. I had to hire another contractor who identified why my roof was leaking and they gave me an estimate on fixing the issue. Long story short the roof repair experts charged me to fix a leak. They came to my house on 3 separate occasions and did not identify what was wrong with the roof and also didn't fix the leak.
I first called about a gutter repair, and their response was immediate. They repaired quickly, however the damage was too extensive to keep the original gutter. Once I called for installation of a new gutter, they once again responded promply, and weather permitting installed a new gutter beautifully! I would recommend this company to my friends and family. :)
