Took my self-propelled lawnmower here for repair, was highly overcharged for a repair that didn't last a week. Do not recommend.
I brought my mower to Rons Small Engines and I had a great experience. I was referred to him by a friend who had nothing but good things to say about him. I was told my mower might be up to 2 weeks to get back, which it was the middle or summer. I was called a week later to tell me my mower was finished, which was a nice suprise . The bill was a very very reasonable, for the work that I had done. I've been going to RON's small engines since 2005 to get my collection of John Deeres, Cub Cadets, Wheel Horse, Kubota Diesel & Crafsman Lawn Tractors, 4 wheelers, Go Karts, Motorcycle & other small equipment.For the price, he does an excellent job. One can go to the big dealers but they also take 2-3 weeks even if u make an appointment and then at the end their total bill can sometimes cost more than what the equipment is worth or ne can buy a new one for lesser amount. THIS REPAIR SHOP IS A THIEF. MY NEW (I YEAR OLD) POWER WASHER WAS TO BE REPAIRED IN "1 DAY," RON SAID. THREE WEEKS LATER, AFTER CALLING TWICE PER WEEK, I JUST WENT AHEAD AND PICKED IT UP. I WAS TOLD IT WAS REPAIRED- LIES & THIEVERY. THEY CANNIBALIZE MY NEW MACHINE. THEY SWAPPED OUT THE NEW EXTENSION HOSE AND SPRAYER - THEY SAID IT DIDN'T WORK. THEN THEY SAID THEY PUT IN A NEW PRESSURE HOSE IN THE HOUSING- THEY DID NOT. THEY DIDN'T EVEN RECONNECT THE PRESSURE HOSE IN THE HOUSING. IT WAS HANGING OFF WHEN I PICKED IT UP. BOB'S ... read more
