Have never had a problem with being waited on and love the food! My husband and I prefer Ronin over any of the other Hibachi style restaurants in the area.
Called in to ask the owner a question and was told he wasn't available today.. So I asked when the best time is to call and the brat on the phone replied.. "Uh huh.. whenever he comes in.." Wow.. won't waste a dime.
Absolutely love this place. They are fast, and fresh!!!
My first experience at Ronin wasn't awesome but wasn't horrible either. So tonight my family n I decided to try them once more.. It was a huge mistake. The sushi rolls were awful. We order California rolls and it was basically like eating imitation crab with too much cucumber. The only part that I can compliment was the freshness of the avocados. We will not be coming back and will def not recommend to anyone!
I waited 10 minutes for someone to take my drink order and that was 15 minutes ago and I have yet to receive a drink... Smdh I am about to leave!
We went for our friend birthday dinner. It was great, I tried sushi for the first time (fire ball) GREAT!!! We enjoyed ourselves and the service was great as well. Would recommend anyone go at least once, yes a little expensive but worth every penny. I will be going back again an again!!
ronin was by far the best place i have eaten in a really long time . they had the freshest sushi which is more than i can say for just about all of the other sushi restaurants around the monroe/west monroe area . the food from the hibachi and sushi was excellent and the service was wonderful . we were seated promptly greeted nicely and visited by the manager to make sure our meal was great (and it was) I REALLY ENJOYED MYSELF AT RONIN JAPANESE HIBACHI STEAK & SUSHI AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE AND TRY IT... read more
I WENT WITH A FRIEND OUR TICKET WAS BROUGHT TO US TOGETHER SO MY FRIEND PUT CASH IN AND I USED MY DEBIT CARD. THE WAITRESS TOOK THE CASH AND PUT EVERYTHING ON MY CARD. WHEN SHE CAME BACK I TOLD HER THAT WAS WRONG SHE VOIDED THE FIRST ONE AND REDID IT CORRECTLY BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE VOID DID NOT GO THROUGH SO THE CHARGE WENT THROUGH TWICE NOW THE ONLY THING THEY CAN SAY IS THEY WILL GIVE ME A VOID NUMBER AND I HAVE TO FIGHT WITH THE BANK OVER THE CHARGES. Love the sushi there, Fresh products. Down side: Most expensive when compare to other in town sushi restaurants. Over all: Best sushi place in Monroe/West Monroe but expensive. You get for what you pay for, right?
