Dr. Joe is a fine doctor. Caring, knowledgeable and makes a sincere investment in his patient's well being. A real treasure in our current system. He is wonderful with children as well!
Dr. Joe has been our family doctor for many years. we have had excellent care with him. I like that he will refer you to a specialist, without having to jump through hoops. He's open to hearing about complimentary and alternative approaches, very knowledgeable and even has a sense of humour...a perfect MD in my books!
When I asked his advise about my heath he started to look over the internet to get an answer to my question. After 3 min. he gave up! he didn't find the response and I gave up too.
Seems nice, but I always felt like I could tell him anything and he would go with what I thought. Like, if I went in and asked for narcotics for pain, he would prescribe them without investigating. Maybe this is because Im not a drug addict, but I always felt I wanted someone a bit more challenging.
I have been going to Dr.Joe for the past 2 years and I got turned off when I called about passprts and his wife Kim was very rude. Usually she is nice and helpful, but this time. Currentli I am looking for a doctor closer to hoome as noone should be treated this way.
Has been my doctor for seven years. He gives me the time I need to talk.He has a great sense of humor. His wife who works for him is very kind and caring. Will always phone back if you can't get through. He does his part and I do mine.
Gave him a medical form in mid-Aug/05 to be completed for a very ill family member. I expected it would take a while as it was very involved, but even so, I did not expect to wait almost a year, until July 10/06! It was actually ready in Feb/06, but I was never informed of this even though I had repeatedly asked. They were holding it pending payment of the patient portion. The charge was $210.00 of which $65.00 was paid by the Gov't. and the balance of $145.00 had to be paid by the patient.
Dr. Joe has a very friendly nature and is very knowledgable. I have had him as my doctor for many years. He is very quiet and does not volunteer much information, but has always come through for me. He is also well known for his inovative office management techniques.
