I called the office to learn more about the practice. Just some general questions to help see if we would be a good fit. The person told me that the only way was to pay for an appointment and then ask my questions. I asked for a second time if it was possible to talk to someone that might just answer a couple questions and then set up an appointment and they said that was not an option.
Dr Walsh is the best heart doctor ever. He takes time to explain everything to you so you are sure to understand. I trust him with my health. He just did a procedure on me this morning at Largo Med and once again with his calm caring voice put me at ease and answered all my questions. I was honored that I was one of his last patients to work on as he is retiring on Friday. I am so sad about this but it’s well deserved for him and his wife. Dr. Ronald Walsh is one of the best doctors I have ever visited. He is professional, efficient, and listens to my concerns. I am a non-medical type of person and Dr. Walsh communicates with me where I understand what he is saying he does it in a very caring manner, he has a calming presence that makes me feel at ease during my visit. All the office staff are very friendly and helpful wait time is short. I highly recommend him without any reservations.

I thanked Dr. Walsh three times during my visit for being professional AND kind. Dr. Walsh was thorough and I didn't feel rushed. He listened to the patient - WOW what a concept! He was GREAT! I have an auto immune condition in addition to other issues and have recently seen 8 practitioners. Out of the 8, most were uncaring, never listened, and wasted huge sums of my money. had my annual checkup. greeted quickly and professionally. Dr. Walsh was early and reviewed my ekg and lab data from Dr. Howard. He checked my heart, lungs and carotid arteries. No changes needed was happy with the 18 lb weight loss.
It was my first visit with Dr Walsh. He knew my concerns and after going over my recent blood works and going over my past stress tests, which were done at a different location, he went over what happens to the inside of the blood vessels as you get older and have some plaque buildup, and then told me that going thru all those tests again, and taking all kinds of medications to try to reduce the plaque, will have little effect, even after a long period of time, and could cost a lot of money that I don't need to spend.
