We were so fortunate to have stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Norfolk while waiting for my son to be discharged after kidney transplantation! The volunteers were so supportive and always available to meet our needs! We will always recommend and support this amazing organization! Thank you to the many volunteers that selflessly give their time!
My Fiance and I stayed here when our son had severe RSV at just 2.5 months old and was at CHKD. He is now 7 years old and doing amazing! We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to be that close to him during his stay. I will be bringing him over soon to see where he was and where we stayed and to make a donation.
Such a wonderful and hospitable place! An absolute home away from home. Big hearts as well.
Our stay was 5+ weeks when our twins arrived 8 weeks early. I was scared and overwhelmed but I always felt comfortable thanks to the staff and volunteers! I cannot say how grateful I was for the availability and flexibility that RMH offered day to day!
It was such a help for us to have a room at the RMDH when my daughter had an emergency appendectomy in January, and we lived far from CHKD! Thank you to all that make it possible, the volunteers, the workers, those who donate etc.!
I love everything about the house they are a family away from family I would love to help and do what I can for the support and help I have received
