While initially I was impressed with Angel in reception's welcoming manners & Dr. Foster's detailed physical exam, I am cringed at how I was treated by this new person named Tamika and surprisingly by Dr. Foster's public insurance-shaming me as I was trying to understand why a pre authorization is taking 2 months and how the Doctor's office can speed it up. A doctor is only as good as their office staff. Unfortunately, today (6/2/22) I arrived at the doctor's office in Monroe after a 40-min drive at 10:37 am. This was for a 10:30 am appointment, whereas I was sent away by the receptionist, Samantha, for being SEVEN (7) minutes late. I explained that this was due to an unforeseen accident, but was still sent away. The receptionist explained that it is company policy to send patients away if they are late. Unfortunately this is NOT a doctors office I’d like to attend, nor would I ever recommend anyone else to go here. SAMANTHA, who sits at the front desk, is always unpleasant, rude, and has a nasty attitude. The way she deals with patients and talks to people is highly unprofessional. I’ve had to call the office for things and paperwork to be done and she always gives me the run around and it’s always a hassle with her.
