Have dealt with Dr. Gurney for 39 year. He is an excellent diagnostician, and pharmacologist. he has treated my late mother in law, my late husband and both of my children through the years. He is smart, funny, dedicated and has more knowledge than any other Dr. I have run across in 65 years. I highly recommend him. He has shown compassion and understanding, he treated my late mother in laws broken back and hi-blood pressure without narcotics and she was in better shape than she had been in her adult life. Dr. Gurney has provided excellent care for me for about 10 years. Never wait long for appointment or when I arrive at his office. I highly recommend him.
Dr Gurney’s staff repeatedly told me they were too busy to take care of an authorization for a medication with my insurance. After speaking to Dr Gurney about it and he assured me they would deal with it, his nurse told me over several phone calls, she probably wouldn’t have time for that, They then closed their office for about 10 days over Christmas. The insurance problem never was dealt with and I am left without medication. They are very disorganized and not very helpful or compassionate.
Heartless. Treated my father shabbily. Lacks compassion for human suffering. Clearly, in the wrong profession.
Dr Gurney runs a very caring practice which is dedicated to customer service and putting his patients at ease. The office really conveys a sense of treating patients like people instead of numbers. When you call, you get a person, not a phone menu. Appointments are easy to make and his availability is very good.
he is not professional. I lost 20 pounds within 3 weeks and he told me everything is fine. he said because Im worried too much. If there is 0 star, I would choose that one
The doctor was polite and listened to my concerns.
