My spouse was having an endoscopy and colonoscopy. He wasn’t told to stop his blood thinners prior to surgery. Was asked by the pre op nurse and anesthesia if he’d taken his blood thinners. He told them yes. The procedure proceeded anyway. As a consequence my husband bled internally and had to be hospitalized for 2 days. Also had to repeat the endoscopy to stop the bleeding. This is not acceptable practice. Also, he has a terrible bedside manner and is arrogant and condescending.

Dr. DeMasi on his cell phone with no acknowledgement. Waited nearly one hour for him to sign me out.....No apologies or other. Unacceptable! Learning opportunity here. Treat your patients with ... read more

Dr. DiMasi saved my life...he handed me after 2 GI bleeds and then referred me to Mayo Clinic and working with them on my liver disease. I was just transplanted 39 days ago because of his referral and constant care of me.

This doctor saved my life after 3 years of blood transfusions and no answers from other doctors. Always has been professional and caring. He’s the best! Been going to him for years!

Very professional and personable. Been my gastro guy for 25 years. Know lots of people my age who love him, too. Comes from a family of gastro guys. Imagine THOSE family gatherings!
