I was diagnosed with isthmic spondylolisthesis. My spine had a 50% slippage at my L5/S1. The disc was crushed. My sciatic nerve was stretched and causing extreme pain. I went to several doctors for evaluation before finding Dr. Desai. He performed a front/back fusion on my L5/S1. I am now 4 weeks out and can say the pain is completely gone. The incisions on my front waste line and lower back look great.
