Shogun dinner is the best steak and lobster. Food was prepared to our likes. Mai Tai was awesome.

Two of the best things at Rons is Secondo and Vivian (Gm) food was outstanding cook to perfection we were seated promptly at 430 and began to enjoy, I recommend Ron Of Japan to all better than chi tung, better than Benny Hona
We used to frequent the Chicago location often, and loved it! We hadn't been for a while and we are sorry we made the drive into the city for a birthday celebration. The service was TERRIBLE! THE food was mediocre, the chef didn't even make eye contact, and we had to ASK for rice from the server who never came around (should come at the time the meal is being prepared). For a $450+ dinner, I would expect MUCH better. Shame on you Ron of Japan for the lousy service and disappointing meal. We won't be coming again.
Bad bad experience !!! We were seated with another family ... didn't get even a Hello and Water for 30 minutes ... like we were not even there !! Never again! And the Food ?? Just horrible .. what a bad example of what used to Be a Good place !! Get your ---- together!!
