The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The kids praised the tacos. The husband has been swooning over the chimichanga, Christmas style since we left. The homemade tres leches cake is one of the best I've had - so good! Overall a really awesome experience. The husband said we'll be back!
When the locals tell you to go here, listen! This was hands down the absolute best Mexican - or New Mexican - food I’ve ever tasted. Everything is made fresh. Literally, the taco shell was freshly made. All of it was extraordinary. The mango habanero salsa was to die for. The refried beans were obviously freshly made and delicious. The guacamole was freshly made for our order, the tortilla chips were so good. Seriously, do yourself a favor and eat at Romo’s. The atmosphere, the food. Incredible!
Romos just set the bar on a scale of 1 to 10 as “10”! I could not have been more pleased with the service or food. All fresh ingredients, prepared when ordered and served quickly. Who could ask for more. If you don’t try them, it’s your loss.
We were traveling through the area and spent a night in Winslow. We noticed the good ratings on this spot and decided to give it a try, and we were very glad we did! The food was great, and the people were so friendly and took good care of us. Great place in an unusual location out at the airport!
