First let me say I only saw this doctor on a referral from my PCP. This guy already had his mind made up BEFORE he walked into to the exam room. He went as far as telling me he had looked in my records at a previous diagnosis. I had hoped they could actually collect a sample and grow a culture. I saw Dr. Romero for the first time today. He introduced himself, was very pleasant, knowledgeable, great bedside manner, really put me at ease. I am a retired R.N. of 40+ years and would easily recommend Dr. Romero to anyone.
This Doctor knows what he is talking about. Putting me at ease with his manner meant so much. I was and have been a challenge but Dr. Romero and his staff are genuine. Appreciate his treatment and care
Poor bedside manner. Did not introduce himself, nor ask any questions about the onset, severity or what makes the rash better or worse. Spent under 10 minutes in the room with me. Told me I had edema however never pressed against my tibia to test.
Was totally unsatisfied with appointment. When I asked him 3 different times to please look at the problem area closer, he said, "I;m not going to indulge you." He would not listen to what I was trying to tell him at all. He basically called me a liar when he told me that the human skin did not do what I was describing. He would do his patients a great service by listening and examining them a little closer. What he prescribed for me just aggravated the problem. In fact, it spread.
Very good, takes time with you and hes super sweet!
