I can honestly say that Dr. Romanow has not only changed, but saved my life. I have Epilepsy, am subject to statis epilepticus, and am allergic to, or have adverse reactions to some common epilepsy medications. Her proper diagnosis, and treatment of my epilepsy have been exceptional. I highly recommend her as a quality doctor and outstanding neurologist.
I mentioned my history of 20 years ago, and she never discussed anything else. She never even took my blood pressure, or examined me.
She was so professional and easy to talk to and really understood my problem. She was thorough in my examination and follow through treatment plan. I am so glad to be referred to her.
Very knowledgeable and personable. Does a thorough and complete history and examination. Listens carefully to patient presented issues and concerns. Staff is pleasant and efficient. Waiting room time less than five minutes.
I've taken my mother to Dr. Romanow about three times, and each time she has asked why she's on a blood thinner and then says she'll contact our cardiologist to discuss but never does. So we get the same question and same response each time. The long and short of it is that she sees dollar signs for each patient and visits are a waste of time. Perhaps that us why this outfit is called 'contemporary." We won't be going back. We prefer "traditional" care where patients receive the best care.
Dr. Romanow helped me to understand my neuropathy and how it limited my abilities. I was a patient for 5 years. She and I discussed and came to mutual decisions on how to combat my varying levels of neuropathy . Dr. Romanow is great to confide in.
I have been a patient of hers for over four years. She has always been very caring and concerned most recently I had a medical emergency and she was availae onthe weekend at night to speak to the emergency room doctor I would recommend her
Dr. Romanow was over 15 minutes late to the appointment. She has poor bedside mannerisms, including: implying symptoms and diagnosis were made up, what level of education I'd completed, and waffling through her diagnosis. Finally, her office manager sent a threatening letter to send a co-payment to collections OVER A YEAR LATER, and this was the first bill/notification I'd received. Avoid this office at all costs.
I have never had a doctor who treating me with such indifference. The term "cold fish" describes my impression of her. This picture of her is so deceiving. Her initial greeting, if you can call it that, was her introduction of herself. Not once did she illicit any type of welcome to me as her patient. I never saw her teeth. She asked questions regarding my situation, gave me a quick walkabout, and then gave her opinion regarding my opinion. I will never go back to her or recommend anyone!
