Horrible service and food sanitation score Restaurant had a sanitation score of 90. It really takes some effort not to score at least a 95 on the NC sanitation score. As for the service, this is definitely the worst experience of 2012. We waited at the front hostess stand for 10 minutes. The restaurant was only about 60% capacity with multiple available tables. I will never go back there unsanitary place. I was tthere yesterday and there was a hostess working who had pinkeye the girls eye was oozing and very red. Aside from that we got sat down right in front the kitchen...it was very loud the cooks are very obnoxious and ignorant to.the fact we were trying to.eat. The silverware was dirty....me and my family will never go back.
No excuse for no flavor, hard potato, salty bread when we were one of 3 families in there so no need to rush. Appetizers meatballs/fried macaroni squares were bland. The carmelas chicken I ordered had absolutely no flavor besides the pound of pepper I put in it to actually taste something. They were out if lemonade and another food item we wanted to order.
It's not worth going to, Go to olive garden. Both my husband and I's food was horrible! They thought whole garlic cloves in the pasta was good to eat and tasty..... New's flash it burns!!! The waiter was good but the cooks seemed to not care about what they were cooking. The menu was limited and our appetizer was fried rubber on a bed of herbs. For fun the next night me and my husband went to the Olive Garden and got the same thing and it was better and cheaper. Really upsetting and wasnt worth the money we spent.
The atmosphere is great here! The wait treat you like family!!!!!! They are alot better than Olive Garden, great food, and good prices!!!!!!!

Food as good as yesterday. Portions considerably smaller while prices remained the same. Server smiled and apologized frequently but actual service? Let's just say twice another server offered to help her. She refused :/ I would go again but not a first choice. Food is still delicious.
About a year ago I think the menu changed and the kitchen staff changed at this location and the food quality declined. Portions got smaller too. We used to go to this Mac Grill 3 or 4 times month. Not any more.
It's great!! Best italian resturant I've been to in years! The service is great and the food is better! Going here every chance i GET!
