Terrible food, not worth the cost. My husband & I arrived there waiting for 2 more elderly family members. I asked if we could sit near the front of the place, and the guy seated us way in the back--really? I felt like we were ignored...It wasn't until I asked the waitress, Melissa, if we could sit in the front in which we did. The service wasn't the greatest either. Our server Alison was great, very friendly, checked up on us, asked if we needed anything often and responded quickly. The food was good, I had create your own pasta. The bread was very good and fresh.
The "Chicken under a brick" or something like that was amazing. I loved it and have gone back several times. If you don't eat carbs like I don't then this is the most perfect and well prepared dish for this kind of restaurant. The ambiance is great with the exception of the sound of a fan blowing out of the fire pit. We also sit at the bar but you have to avoid those seats near the fan. It is like a tornado with vibrations and all.
The lobster-stuffed clams and bruschetta crostini were great starters to our meal. Next, my husband had roasted mushroom soup. Their bread with olive oil and freshly cracked pepper is amazing! Ray, our server, was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I ended up choosing the Penne Rustica (roasted chicken, shrimp, proscuitto, parmesan cheese, and penne pasta cooked in a rosemary cream sauce. Their bread is amazing and I usually get the lobster ravioli but after reading these reviews, I think I'll try the veal. Baby animals are delicious :)
