The food is fair at best. although this rating is due to the service better yet the lack of service I received on my last visit. I was seated in a section that was not covered by any one, no big deal, mistakes happen. The Macaroni Grill in (Doral) Miami, FL was my favorite restaurant in that area, but I found the one in VA Beach extremely "lacking." Needless to say, I've given them three chances with the same dish (veal scallopini) and haven't seen improvement. By far the best "chain" Italian restaurant is Carrabba's on Lynnhaven Parkway. The food quality is far superior to every other Italian restaurant in the area. No contest! Great food!! Great Service!! Food is always hot, and staff is always friendly. I love the idea of coloring on the table I have a 4 year old, and it helps keep her occupied... Oh.. and I love it too..
