We had this restaurant do our wedding rehearsal party and we have only good things to say. They had easy choices from having guests order their own meals, to having a meal-choice plan, from which there are, maybe 4 menus to choose from, each of which gave maybe 8 entree choices, plus appetizers and desserts. Great service, very courteous, and great, new room, mostly closed off. Much recommended.
A terrible experience My grandmother and I went to this restaurant for lunch last week and were very disappointed! It took us 20 minutes to get menus and another 15 before we were even able to get glasses of water. Our waiter was rude, and very very slow! The restaurant was not busy yet we didn't see the waiter until the end of the meal when we had to hunt him down for the check! We talked to the manager and he also was very ungracious. I will never eat here again!
Best gargonzola salad – OMG..loved the warm, fresh bread brought to our table. Perfect accompaniment for our wine. The wine was delicious. Service was excellent. Had to wait on Friday. Should have made a reservation. The meal was well worth the wait. The gargonzola salad is a must have. The highlight of the evening was a John Elway sighting. Woo HOO!!!!
The worst Italian Ever – The waiter acted like he was doing us a favour! The food is really awful! Please don't try any of their Ravioli dishes. Even when the waiter saw that my wife and I hadn't touched our food and when we said we didn't want them boxed, he didn't bother to ask us if anything was wrong with the food. We were already running late, so we decided to just walk out. If you don't want to spoil aFriday/Saturday night , don't go here!
Go for the Bread – My husband and I love Macaroni Grill. As much as we'd prefer to support independent restaurants, this place has charming and comfortable atmosphere, delicious bread, friendly (if amateur, sometimes) staff, and a few great dishes. I always get the lobster ravioli, although the rich, creamy sauce is usually broken in the past year. He always gets the Teriyaki Salmon and has never been disappointed, although sometimes it's better than others. The caesar salad is superb, also - wish I could make it that well a... read more
Enjoyable - Unique Casual Dining – Casual atmosphere reminding me of a Munich Beer Hall that is really cozy in the Fall and Winter sitting near the fireplace. I like the Chicken Scaloppine Chicken breast, mushrooms, artichokes, capers & smoked prosciutto in lemon butter with pasta $11.49 (Dinner). They also serve pasta, wood oven baked pizza, steaks, seafood, etc. I have tried a variety of pasta dishes and have enjoyed them all but use caution in ordering the Salmon. It was grilled and served disappointing dry and the Spinach... read more
