I am new to Romanelli. Today I had a preventative maintenance performed on my oil boiler (yes, I should have done it at the start of the heating season). In nearly 40 years of home ownership, I have not had a Technician do as thorough a job as Bobby!
Just got off the phone with a representative, dealing with my brother-in-law‘s account. He passed away and I have found this company to be so compassionate, helpful, and giving, that it will be my absolute pleasure to continue with them in the future. Great service, but more importantly, an absolutely magnificent staff. I cannot say enough good things about them and I highly recommend this company for all your fuel and heating needs. - Frank Ingar
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This is not the original Romanelli. This company is a joke. We canceled years ago and they just, out of the blue delivered oil to us and are charging wayyy over market price for the oil. I've called over a dozen times to cancel, they won't do it. It's like harassment at this point. This company is a run by slimy, shady people. You're better off contacting Romeo Fuel or anyone else. You have been warned!
We have had 2 minor incidents since becoming customers ~2 years ago ( we were formerly with Bauer Oil). Both times, the same repair man came to our home promptly. He was friendly, courteous & honest. (I believe his name was Ritchie). Thus far, our experience has been nothing but great and a breathe fresh air after dealing with Bauer Oil for more than 40 years!!
Very good business with always helpful staff members. I believe they are a division of Star Group which also owns Meenan, Frank Brothers, Petro and many other Long Island heating companies. Unfortunately they apparently aren't staffed to provide prompt annual routine service and recently cancelled because they didn't have enough staff to cover service calls and can't reschedule for at least 3 months which unfortunately is after the peak heating season.
