About this business

Roma Restaurant was founded by our grandfather, George Tavolilla, in May 1931, His son John was involved in the business from the time he was a little boy. John worked hard to preserve and expand Roma to its present stature. Since John's passing, his two sons, Michael and John, are now the third generation of Tavolillas to carry on the family tradition. For the past 75 years, Roma has maintained its presence in the Village of Tuckahoe and remained active in the community.

My family travels from Poughkeepsie to Tuckahoe to enjoy dinners at Roma Restaurant at least once a month!

Whenever we are back in NY a must stop for pizza. And we also bring one home. Sausage pizza is primo. Food is good. Like their chicken parmigiana and pasta dishes. Really good sauce. Restaurant is large. Great staff some who have been there for many years. Nice that they remember me when I stop in. Can’t wait to come back again.

BEST PIZZA EVER. Do not walk, RUN to Roma's. Forget the decor, forget the location, forget the rest of the menu items (which are pretty darn good too) and SIT DOWN AND ORDER A PIZZA AND EAT IT THERE. It is life altering. Do not take them to go, they do not transport well. Thin crust pizza rarely does. Get a large pizza, a pitcher of coke/sprite/beer and enjoy. All other pizzas will pale in comparison.

One of my all time favorite places. I love the pizza, owners and staff! I drive all the way there from Pleasantville and it's well worth the trip.

The pizza is as good as I remember from when I was a kid. Friendly bartender and staff.

I have been coming here since the 1970s. Although we don’t live close by any longer, the staff still recognizes us when we come in. No pizza comes close. All of the food is great, but we have to satisfy our pizza cravings whenever we visit.
